Holy Trinity is a welcoming, loving, serving community. We believe “come as you are, whoever you are” best describes us and our worship style. Everyone is welcome!

Our Services

How long is the Worship Service?
Most services are structured to last about an hour. Bulletins are provided to guide you through the service. We offer services at both 8:00AM and 10:00AM on Sunday mornings.

What about kids?
Children are welcome to participate in worshiping our God together in the Sanctuary. The 10:00AM service includes a Children’s Story, told at the front of the church. Then, children PreK to 5th grade proceed to Sunday School. The Sunday School participants re-join the congregation during the announcements so they may participate in Holy Communion. Nursery care (infants to 3yrs) is also available during the 10:00AM service.

What are our Services like?
The 8:00AM service is a quiet service, including the spoken word only. The 10:00AM service includes music. We serve Holy Communion at all services.

How do people normally dress?
We have a casual atmosphere. Some wear jeans, shorts, and some wear business casual. Please come as you are!

What’s there to do after worship?
Breakfast is served at 9:00AM on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of the month. People from both services attend.

Established in 1983, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church is now in its 40th year as a welcoming, loving and serving congregation in Clearwater. Beginning as a small group of individuals with a desire to plant an Episcopal Church in the Countryside area, Holy Trinity is now an established part of the community, continuing to grow in membership and impact.

Today’s Holy Trinity is comprised of people from different places, backgrounds, churches and religious traditions, all drawn to this welcoming Episcopal Church with its vibrant expression of the love of Jesus. Our diversity of spiritual origins enriches our current learning within this branch of the Christian church. We are all drawn to Holy Trinity, because of the community we find here and the spirit we share in what it means to love God and love our neighbor. We are here because all are welcomed.

Our focus is demonstrating the love of God and neighbor in tangible, practical ways. At Holy Trinity, you will find the Episcopal principles of grace, forgiveness, compassion and love central to the life of the community.

How to Become a Member of Holy Trinity

Becoming a member of Holy Trinity is very simple. All you need is the following: (1) must be a Baptized Christian, (2) meet with the Rector, (3) regular attendee at worship, and (4) financial contributor of record. Please note – you are NOT required to be a Confirmed or Received Episcopalian to be a member of Holy Trinity.

How to Become a Member of the Episcopal Church

To become an Episcopalian, you need to go through the process of Confirmation. This involves a formal education series, as well as participation in a sacramental ceremony performed by a Bishop in the Episcopal Church. If you were previously Confirmed in a different Christian denomination, you may opt to go through the process of Reception. The education requirements for Reception are much lighter than those for Confirmation, however participation in a sacramental ceremony performed by a Bishop in the Episcopal Church is still required. Schedule an appointment with the Rector to inquire further.

The Episcopal Church is a Christian denomination that is part of the larger Anglican Communion, with churches in 165 countries. As an Episcopal Church:

We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, whose life, death, and resurrection saved the world.

We have a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being; women and men serve as bishops, priests, and deacons in our church. Laypeople and clergy cooperate as leaders at all levels of our church. Leadership is a gift from God, and can be expressed by all people in our church, regardless of sexual identity or orientation.

We believe that God loves you – no exceptions.
